Clarifying Roles

I believe it is true, as Cardinal Ouellet, the Holy Father and other Church leaders have indicated, that the blurring of gender roles has greatly contributed to the crisis of the family and the problem of morals in the modern world.

I also believe strongly that the Church can help resolve these grave difficulties by restoring traditional roles of men and women in the Church itself. Having more men distribute communion and do the readings at Mass, as well as serving at Mass, will have the effect of strengthening and clarifying the dangerously blurred role of men not simply in the Church, but in society at large.

Sincerely yours,

Robert John Bennett
