The three-day meeting began today in Madrid. The Council of European Bishops’ Conferences organizes the event. Some 40 national directors are attending.
The new evangelization is the topic of the next meeting of the world synod of bishops, which will be held in the Vatican in October.
Participants will report on the situation of university pastoral work in their respective countries and compare working proposals at the European level, particularly in light of Madrid’s World Youth Day.
