Andrew McAlpin, a Dominican religious, designed the page for the novitiate of the Central Province of the order in the United States.

The site, www.op.org/novices, enables browsers to find out about the novices’ progress in their studies, community life, and the principal aspects of the order, as well as to take a “virtual trip” around the premises.

The novice master, Dominican Father Luis Morrone, can be contacted for the biographies and photographs of the young students and those of previous classes. There are currently 16 novices.

The Web page has received favorable reviews from Internet surfers, including one from Dominican religious Roberto Merced of Salamanca, Spain, who congratulated the novices on their page. “Thank you for sharing your life with us,” he said in his message. “May God bless you in this wonderful year. You are in our prayers.”
