Pope Francis welcome and encouraged Arabic-speaking pilgrims, in particular those from the Middle East, during his General Audience on September 13, 2017, in St. Peter’s Square.

“Tomorrow we celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.” the Holy Father said. “Remember always that through Christ’s Cross the evil one was vanquished and death overcome; life was given to us and hope restored. Be able always to discover and welcome this message of love and salvation of the Cross of Jesus. May the Lord bless you.”
