Neglecting Our Catholic Heritage

I agree that St. Augustine’s Confessions should be taught at Catholic high schools and universities[Church Fathers], along with more emphasis on the Fathers as well as other such monuments of our Catholic heritage.

My agnostic professor of comparative literature on a secular campus gave great emphasis to Augustine and to the great importance of his “Confessions” within our civilization. It was interesting for an agnostic to do this in a secular setting, when our own Catholic schools so often neglect Augustine and our Catholic heritage.
