Pope Francis Receives Prelates, Ambassadors, Former Anglican Bishop

Among those Pope Francis received in private audience today were members of the Curia, and the former Anglican bishop of Rochester, England.

Meeting with the Holy Father were prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples, Cardinal Fernando Filoni; president emeritus of the Pontifical Council for the International Eucharistic Congresses, Cardinal Jozef Tomko; and the apostolic nuncio to El Salvador and Belize, Archbishop Leon Kalenga Badikebele,.

The Pope also met with Michael Nazir-Ali, former Anglican bishop of Rochester, and Han Thomas Hong-soon, South Korea’s ambassador to the Holy See, who is on his farewell visit.
