Pope Gets 80th Birthday E-Greetings

VATICAN CITY, APRIL 15, 2007 (Zenit.org).- It’s not too late to send Benedict XVI a greeting for his 80th birthday.

The Pontiff’s birthday is Monday, and while ordinary mail will not arrive on time, an e-greeting sent through the Vatican’s Web site will.

On a special page added to the site for the occasion, anyone in the world with an Internet connection can send a greeting directly to the Holy Father.

The greeting can be sent anonymously, or personal data such as name, address and e-mail can be included in the message.
