Pope Francis’ prayer intentions this month focus on all those who give their time to help those in need.
The Apostleship of Prayer announced the intentions chosen by the Pope for August.
His general intention is “that volunteers may give themselves generously to the service of the needy.”
For his evangelization intention, the Holy Father is praying so “that setting aside our very selves we may learn to be neighbours to those who find themselves on the margins of human life and society.”
