RIMINI, Italy, AUG. 14, 2012 (Zenit.org).- The 23rdannual Rimini Meeting will feature a unique perspective of the events through the use of social media. With the help of a social media team of volunteers, participants and those who wished to participate can now follow the events online and through mobile apps.

The team organizing the social media outreach first detailed their plans in an official presentation in Rome. One of the key features where people can connect is through the use of hash tags. The team selected #meeting as the official hash tag of the Rimini Meeting. Participants who upload photos, videos or messages along with #meeting will show anyone who searches the hashtag postings from the event.

The official website of the Rimini Meeting, www.meetingrimini.org, is updated in real-time with information on programs, guest speakers, exhibitions and shows. There is also convenient information for participants with directions and suggested places to stay. News and photos can be accessed through the website as well.

Social Networks have become a prominent way of accessing up-to-the minute reports on the event.
