A state judge rejected another attempt by Bob and Mary Schindler to reconnect their daughter’s feeding tube, leaving the couple with little hope they could keep her alive. They planned to appeal the ruling to the state Supreme Court later in the day, a family spokesman said.

Pinellas Circuit Judge George Greer rejected the parents’ argument that Schiavo, 41, tried to say “I want to live” before her feeding tube was removed March 18.
