Spanish Leader’s Title

ROME, JULY 10, 2006 (Zenit.org).-Yesterday’s report on the meeting between the Pope and Spain’s head of government, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, referred to him as the president of Spain. While this is, in fact, his formal title, normally he is referred to as the country’s prime minister.
