Video Released for Pope’s June Prayer Intentions

Intentions This Month Focus on Eliminating Arms Trade, Peace and Healing

Since his Jubilee Year of Mercy, Pope Francis has been releasing video messages to illustrate his monthly prayer intentions, through his Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network (Apostleship of Prayer).

This week, the June video was released on its website. Videos for his prayer intentions can be viewed here: www.thepopevideo.org

The Pope’s official intention for June is:

  • “Prayer Intention – National Leaders:That national leaders may firmly commit themselves to ending the arms trade, which victimizes so many innocent people.|read the reflection

The Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network propose also to pray, at the beginning of the month, with the 1st Angelus prayer intention:

  • “Urgent Intention –Peace and Healing: May the Holy Spirit grant peace to the entire world.  May He heal the wounds of war and terrorism, which most recently struck innocent civilians in London.  Let us pray for the victims and their families.”
