The theme of the meeting, which will take place in St. Peter´s Seminary and King´s College in London, Ontario, from July 19-21, echoes that of the World Youth Day: “You are the salt of the earth, you are the light of the world.”
The gathering will provide newly ordained priests and those preparing for the priesthood with an opportunity to get to know one another and to listen to presentations by Church leaders.
Speakers will include Cardinal James Francis Stafford, president of the Pontifical Council for the Laity; Cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger, archbishop of Paris; and Archbishop Terrence Prendergast of Halifax.
