Pope Francis exhorted young people, the sick and newlyweds, whom, he greeted at the General Audience on August 23, 2017, to contemplate the Virgin Mary.

The Holy Father recalled the feast of the Assumption, last August 15, and that of the Queen Mar , observed on August 22, on concluding the meeting in Paul VI Hall. “Let us raise our gaze to Heaven to contemplate the splendor of the Holy Mother of God,” he invited.

“Cultivate sincere devotion to her, so that she will be by your side in your daily existence,” he added.
