How Many New Priests Will Be Ordained in France in 2025? These Are the Figures

(ZENIT News / Paris, June 28, 2025) – On the occasion of the Feast of the Apostles Peter and Paul, the French Episcopal Conference released the figures for priestly ordinations in the country in 2025. The figures are as follows:

90 priests will be ordained in 2025. Their distribution is as follows:

25. Religious and members of Communities (5 of whom are already counted among the 63 diocesan priests)

1 Member of a Society of Apostolic Life (MEP, including 1 already counted among the 73 diocesan priests)
