BRAZILIAN EVENT FOCUSES ON NEW MOVEMENTS

On Sunday the Archdiocese of Sao Paulo, Brazil, will celebrate the Jubilee of new movements and ecclesial communities.

Some 20 movements, embracing close to 15,000 people, will attend the event. The day will begin with a concert, followed by prayer and a conference on John Paul II´s thought on the movements in the Church. The different movements will present a brief account of their activities. The Jubilee celebration will end with a Mass, presided over by Archbishop Claudio Hummes.
