Representatives of Madritel said Wednesday it will include EWTN programs in the basic service offered to clients for free. EWTN is a religious channel that reaches over 60 million homes worldwide. It was founded in 1981 by Mother Angelica, a cloistered American nun.
EWTN already had agreements with other autonomous cable channels in Spain, and with the television channel of the Archdiocese of Toledo.
