It is indeed sad to see that some factions in the European Union are trying to erase the Christian roots of Europe. It is like a child upon reaching adulthood, trying to forget about his parents in the name of independence and self-reliance.
We are indeed in support of everyone who, like the Greek bishops, try to tell the world that respectful co-existence and dialogue is what is needed in modern Europe and that indeed, Europe is what it is now because of its Christian roots.
