Pope Francis’ prayer intentions for this month calls for an end to human trafficking and remembers the plight of immigrants and refugees.

The Apostleship of Prayer announced the intentions chosen by the Pope for this month.

His general intention is:That human trafficking, the modern form of slavery, may be eradicated.”

The Pontiff’s intention for evangelization is: “That with a missionary spirit the Christian communities of Asia may announce the Gospel to those who are still awaiting it.”

The Holy Father’s universal prayer intention for October is: “That human trafficking, the modern form of slavery, may be eradicated”.
