The second video featuring Pope Francis reflecting on his monthly prayer intentions has been released.
The Holy Father’s universal intention for February is “that we may take good care of creation–a gift freely given–cultivating and protecting it for future generations.”
In the video, Francis notes that both believers and non-believers agree that the earth is our common heritage, and he calls for a change of lifestyle, a new way of living “free of the slavery of consumerism.” He makes an appeal to “take care of our common home.”
In January, the first video featuring his monthly prayer intentions was released.
