The Holy Father Pope Francis, after discussing with the Council of Cardinals, decided to convene a meeting with the Presidents of the Episcopal Conferences of the Catholic Church on the theme of the “protection of minors”.
The meeting with the Pope will be held in the Vatican from 21 to 24 February 2019.
During the XXVI meeting, which took place from 10 to 12 September, the Council reflected together with the Holy Father on the abuse problems, releasing the statement already issued by the Holy See Press Office on 10 September.
Proceeding with the work for the reform of the Roman Curia, it [the Council] concluded its re-reading of the texts already prepared; the pastoral care of the personnel who work there [in the Curia] has also been a cause of attention.
