The launching will take place in Nathan Phillips Square in the evening, in front of city hall.
The event will include music and singing, Bible readings, and the presentation of a video, according to Paul Kilbertus, who is in charge of communications for next year´s World Youth Day.
«We want this event to have local, national and even international reach,» he said in a press statement.
