Armagh Web Site Gives Virtual Tour of Cathedral

ARMAGH, Northern Ireland, JUNE 27, 2001 (Zenit.org).- The Archdiocese of Armagh has launched its Web site which contains a 360-degree virtual tour of St. Patrick´s Cathedral.

The site has 450 pages of information on the life of the archdiocese including a section on shrines and places of pilgrimage.

He did so by sending a video message to the fifty young people participating in MED 24 Tirana, a new edition of the Mediterranean Encounters

The Pope at MED24 asked the young people of the Mediterranean to help the region “recover its expression of fraternity and peace” and stop being “a graveyard”

He did so through a message he sent to the young people participating in Albania at MED 24 in Tirana. Inspired by the previous Mediterranean Meetings, the event aims to create a spirit of fraternity following Francis’ call to build bridges of dialogue between the different religions and cultures of the Mediterranean.

In the last six years, also marked by a period of rare contact in relations between the parties during the pandemic, nine new Catholic bishops have been ordained in China. In the same period, eight so-called «non-official» bishops, ordained in the past outside the procedures imposed by the Chinese apparatus, have asked for and obtained public recognition of their function also from the political authorities in Beijing
