The news was confirmed by members of the ecumenical monastic community to the youths gathered here for Holy Week.
The meeting in Paris follows similar gatherings in Budapest, Barcelona, Warsaw, Milan, Vienna and Prague, among others, in which tens of thousands of youths met over five days to pray.
Several thousand youths from all over the world are celebrating Holy Week in Taizé, with prayer, the liturgy and reflection, especially on a letter written by Brother Roger, the community´s founder, for the year 2002, entitled “Love and Express It With Your Life.”
