Web Site Opens for Pope's Visit to Croatia

ZAGREB, Croatia, MAY 27, 2003 (Zenit.org).- The official Web site of the third pastoral visit by John Paul II to Croatia has been launched, the Catholic agency Croata Ika reported.

The Croatian site is www.papa.hr. Its English version is www.pope.hr.

The Web pages were prepared by the staff of the Catholic weekly Glas Koncila and will be administered by the staff of the Press Office of the CCB and the Catholic Press Agency IKA-Zagreb.

The pages include documents, speeches, the itinerary of the June 5-9 trip, announcements, reports on related events, and photographs.

The Web pages will also provide information on each city the Pope will visit, press centers and their staffs, as well as the Pope’s two previous visits to Croatia.

In cooperation with Croatian Radio Television (HRT), HTnet and CARnet, it will also be possible to watch direct broadcasts of the visit.
