The meeting will be held Friday, Aug. 19, at 5 p.m. in Cologne’s St. Pantaleon Church.

The organizers are requesting all seminarians who will be attending WYD — some 5,000 are expected — to register before July 31.

Seminarians will be able to obtain the ticket they will need for the meeting with the Pope between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m., Aug. 15-18, and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. the day of the encounter.

To register, each seminarian must have a letter from his bishop attesting that he forms part of the local seminary.

The seminarians, and priests dedicated to the formation of presbyters, will attend another meeting on the afternoon of Aug. 17, with Cardinal Joachim Meisner, archbishop of Cologne.
