1st International Fair of Families Planned

VALENCIA, Spain, DEC. 1, 2005 (Zenit.org).- A convention center is reserving 100,000 square meters of exhibition space for the 1st International Fair of Families, from July 1-7, as part of the 5th World Meeting of Families.

Alberto Catalá, president of the Feria Valencia center, said today that the exhibition space will accommodate hundreds of stands where associations, foundations, organizations and businesses connected with families can exhibit their projects and initiatives.

Potential exhibitors can sign up for the fair on the Web page of the 5th World Meeting, www.wmf2006.org.

Catalá said fair is expecting to receive more than 100,000 visitors throughout the week.

The 5th World Meeting of Families, called by Benedict XVI for Valencia, is expecting 1.5 million people to attend, according to organizers. The event has already registered more than a thousand volunteers.
