Far from being misunderstood, I think the secularist humanists have understood the Holy Father perfectly. They see in his words a non-acceptance of the pro-homosexuality and pro-abortion agenda, but they are unwilling to enter into the respectful dialogue that Pope Benedict XVI has requested.
