Thanks ZENIT for publishing the interview with Abby Johnson on what women in crisis need. I quite agree with Ms Johnson that women who are caught up in the dilemma of abortion and pro-life need to be respected. They need compassion, a shoulder to cry on, a person to listen to them and most importantly, someone to stand up for them.

This is what my Order — The Holy Family Sisters of the Needy, founded in Nigeria in 1985 — do with abused, abandoned and unmarried teenage pregnant girls under our care. Through these methods we have succeeded every year in saving tens of lives of babies and also found happy homes for many of them who are put up for adoption. Pro-life is a cause worth fighting for.
