Even after having just returned from his Lenten retreat in Ariccia, Pope Francis is ready to hold his third Jubilee Audience Saturday morning in St. Peter’s Square.

Like the Wednesday general audiences, these Saturday events are open to the general public. They will be held once a month in the context of the Year of Mercy.

In his first Jubilee Audience, the Holy Father focused on the joy of encountering the Lord and accepting His mercy. Francis stressed how God takes the first step to approach us, not the reverse.

In his second, he discussed how the Church during this Holy Year invites us to deepen our commitment to express God’s mercy in every aspect of our daily lives.
