In this Jubilee Year of Mercy, Pope Francis has been releasing video messages to illustrate his monthly prayer intentions, announced by the Apostleship of Prayer.

The Pope’s universal intention for July is «that indigenous peoples, whose identity and very existence are threatened, will be shown due respect.»
Pope Francis’ evangelization intention is for Latin America and the Caribbean, and prays that «the Church in Latin America and the Caribbean, by means of her mission to the continent, may announce the Gospel with renewed vigor and enthusiasm.»
