Pope Francis has taken off in his Alitalia A321 flight with his papal entourage and journalists for his two-day visit to Egypt, April 28-29. The visit marks Francis’ 18th Apostolic Visit abroad and his 27th country visited. The flight which departed from Rome’s Fiumicino Airport will last a little more than three hours and will bring him to the north African nation’s capital of Cairo, about 2350 kilometers away from the Eternal City.
