Pope Francis on February 13, 2019, reminded those attending his Wednesday general audience that February 14 is the feast day of  Saints Cyril and Methodius.
“Tomorrow we celebrate the feast of Saints Cyril and Methodius, evangelizers of the Slavic peoples and Co-Patrons of Europe,” the Holy Father said. “May their example help us to become, in every realm of life, disciples and missionaries for the conversion of the estranged, as well as those that are closer. May their love for the Lord give us the strength to sustain every sacrifice, so that the Gospel becomes the fundamental rule of our life.”
