The Pope has appointed as Camerlengo of the Holy Roman Church His Eminence Cardinal Kevin Joseph Farrell, prefect of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life. The position was empty since the death of Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, who led the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue. This appointment was published in today’s Feb. 14 Holy See Press Office bulletin.
