More than 50,000 motorcyclists from all over Poland came on Sunday, April 7, 2019, to the throne of Our Lady of Jasna Gora in order to initiate the motorcycle season, according to the Polish Bishops’ Conference. They participated in the Holy Mass and prayed for the safe riding season.
The central point of this religious-patriotic pilgrimage of motorcyclists was the Holy Mass, which began at noon at the Jasna Gora fields. The Eucharist was presided by Fr. Marek Kiedrowicz, a Franciscan, commander, and chaplain of the Katyn Rally. At the end of the Holy Mass, the act of entrustment of the Polish motorcyclists to the Blessed Virgin Mary was pronounced.
