(ZENIT News / Vatican City, 30.12.2022).- In view of the general interest aroused by the Pope Emeritus’ state of health, the Holy See’s spokesman, Matteo Bruni, said on Friday afternoon, December 30, the following:
“Last night the Pope Emeritus was able to rest well. He also participated in the celebration of Holy Mass in his room yesterday afternoon. At present, his state is stationary.”
Extra-officially the accredited press, as is ZENIT’s case, presupposes that the Holy See Press’ brief daily reports will be received daily until Benedict XVI’s health improves or there is a marked adverse change.
