«We´re all evangelists,» the Third Order Franciscan priest told participants at the 13th annual Religious Sisters Conference.

«Each time we help someone take one step forward, that´s evangelizing,» he said. «It´s not grandiose, but it´s great in God´s plan.»

The conference, held July 10-12, drew religious sisters from more than 40 communities, said Sister Maria Walsh, conference coordinator.

The conference was one of 20 summer conferences hosted by Franciscan University of Steubenville, and expected to draw over 27,000 participants to the Ohio campus and to sites in seven states.

Information on next year´s conferences is available at the Christian Conference Office, 1-800-437-8368, and at www.franciscanconferences.com.
