“Dying on the Cross,” Pope Francis says, “Jesus gives us life, transforms our sin into forgiveness, our death into resurrection, our fear into confidence.”
The Pope encouraged Arabic-speaking Christians, especially those from the Middle East present in St. Peter’s Square, to do so during today’s General Audience of Wednesday, March  28, 2018.
After his catechesis on the Easter Triduum, the Pope stressed, “Dear brothers and sisters, in these days of love let us embrace the mystery of Jesus who, dying on the Cross, gives us life, transforms our sin into forgiveness, our death into resurrection, our fear into confidence.”
Giving early Easter greetings, Pope Francis concluded saying: “May the Lord bless you all! “
