Pope Francis did not have his weekly General Audience today, August 14.
His weekly appointment with the faithful in the Vatican had been suspended for its traditional summer break, for all of July, but resumed in August last week.
According to the calendar of the Prefecture of the Papal Household, today’s General Audience was not expected to take place.
Instead, it explained, the Holy Father will preside over the recital of the Marian antiphon of the Angelus domini tomorrow, August 15, at noon, for the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
