Pope Francis is mourning the deceased and many children killed in a mall fire in Russia.
Pope Francis expressed his ‘deep sadness’ in the condolences he sent to the loved ones and victims of those affected by the fire that struck the Winter Cherry Complex in the Serbian city of Kemerova today, claiming more than 64 lives, reported the Holy See Press Office.
In the message sent today, March 26, 2018, on the Pope’s behalf by Vatican Secretary of State, the Pope assures those suffering of his prayers, thanks those responding to the tragedy and commends the souls of those who died to the merciful love of almighty God.
While rescue efforts continue and many work to assist the injured and search for the missing, Pope Francis concluded invoking upon all divine blessings of peace and consolation.
