Pope Prays World Cup in Russia ‘Overcomes All Boundaries’

Wishes It to Be Opportunity for Encounter, Dialogue and Fraternity

May the upcoming World Cup become an opportunity for encounter, dialogue and fraternity.

Pope Francis expressed his wish at the end of his General Audience in St. Peter’s Square, greeting players, organizers, and all those who will follow the matches of the 2018 World Cup to take place in Russia.
