The forum in the Synod Auditorium will be presided over by Cardinal Francis Arinze, and moderated by Monsignor Michael Fitzgerald, president and secretary, respectively, of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue.

“The forum is an opportunity for exchange among the official representatives of the different religions, who will take part in the Day of Prayer for Peace in the World, which will be held in Assisi on Jan. 24,” a press statement issued by the Vatican explains. “The participants will be given the possibility to express a brief message.”

Journalists will be able to follow the discussions from the Vatican Press Office.
