The sodality, whose official name in Latin is «Sodalitium Christianae Vitae,» is a society of apostolic life that began in Peru. It has given origin to the Christian Life Movement, which has thousands of members in the Americas and Europe.
The sodality is composed of consecrated persons, whereas the movement is open to single and married lay people.
