Nathanson, a one-time pioneer for legal abortion in the United States,
will
join Catholic converts from around the world for the seventh Path to Rome
conference.
Nathanson, who now dedicates his efforts to the protection of human life,
admits he is «responsible for 75,000 abortions.» He is the author of the
video «The Silent Scream,» and of the books «The Abortion Papers,»
«Aborting America» and «The Hand of God.»
Among the scheduled speakers for the conference in Avila are Cardinal Darío
Castrillón Hoyos, prefect of the Vatican Congregation for the Clergy, and
Cardinal Alfonso López Trujillo, president of the Pontifical Council for
the Family.
The congress will hear the testimonies of famous converts, including
Monsignor Graham Leonard, former Anglican bishop of London.
