Thursday’s meeting of the envoys assigned to the Vatican was promoted by Archbishop Jean-Louis Tauran, secretary for relations with states.
«The meeting was an occasion to exchange points of view on the situation in Iraq, on the future European Constitutional Treaty, and on the international situation in general,» said a statement by Vatican spokesman Joaquín Navarro-Valls.
