The Wednesday Italian edition of the newspaper describes the tragedy as "a fierce attack against peace."
Moreover, the three suicide attacks against housing complexes occupied by foreigners resulted in some 194 wounded, France Press reported at the close of this edition, quoting U.S. State Department sources.
"The international community is called upon to find effective methods to oppose a fierce terrorist strategy directed from different parts against peace," the semi-official Vatican newspaper continues.
"In different areas of the world, torn by years of violence, armed groups move with the common determination to influence political processes, by sacrificing innocent lives," it states.
"Tragically, the plan is always the same: every attempt to revive the dialogue with a view to pacification is answered by escalating tension, which radicalizes the positions and impedes any lasting agreement."
"Often, this cynical way of interpreting history has succeeded in imposing itself on the dialectic confrontation. However, it is necessary to be convinced that only with negotiation can lasting solutions be found to the conflicts that bloody the planet," the paper concludes.
