The apostolic delegation of the Holy See in Jerusalem announced that an English version would appear this year. The publication is edited and financed by the delegation.
The 289-page book provides its users with updated contact information about the 10 Catholic dioceses present in the Holy Land, along with a list of their bishops, parishes and schools.
The book includes a complete listing of all Catholic religious orders, congregations and movements, as well as information about their institutions and activities. It also lists major shrines.
A special section is devoted to the Custody of the Holy Land, which includes the holy places and other institutions entrusted to the Franciscans.
