It is right and necessary that [Benedict XVI] should show solidarity with the Jews regarding the Holocaust. However, before he lifted the excommunication of Lefebvrite Bishop Richard Williamson he should have had direct communication with the bishop explaining to him that his views are wrong and that he should cease and desist from spreading them around.
