VATICAN CITY, APRIL 2, 2012 (Zenit.org).- Benedict XVI is praying this month for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

The Apostleship of Prayer announced the intentions chosen by the Pope for April.

His general intention is “that many young people may hear the call of Christ and follow him in the priesthood and religious life.”

And the Pontiff’s mission intention is “that the risen Christ may be a sign of certain hope for the men and women of the African continent.”
