A former secretary of the Ecclesia Dei Commission, the Vatican organization trying to bring about reconciliation with the Society of St. Pius X, has been named again to the post.
Archbishop Guido Pozzo, 61, had been serving as the Almoner of His Holiness, a position which helps to coordinate the Pontiff’s charity work.
He served as secretary of Ecclesia Dei from 2009-2012.
The Pope appointed Monsignor Konrad Krajewski to take the position as Almoner of His Holiness.
